Lighting accounts for up to 38 percent of the electric energy usage in commercial buildings, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. NEW Energi TriPak_TM—Lutron is proud to announce a cost-effective, wireless lighting control system for single-spaces. The Energi TriPak is an energy-saving solution comprised of load controllers that communicate via Lutron Clear Connect_™ RF technology to Radio Powr Savr_® occupancy/vacancy and daylight sensors and Pico_® wireless controls. The Energi TriPak load controller offerings include: Maestro Wireless_® dimmers and switches, PowPak_® plug-in modules, and new PowPak junction box mounted devices. This system was designed for classrooms, private offices and other single space applications where simple installation without the need for additional wiring is desired.

NEW PowPak_® Load Controllers—Lutron is pleased to introduce a new line of wireless junction box mounted devices for single spaces. The PowPak load controllers are available in three control options: dimming with EcoSystem_®, line-voltage switching with Softswitch_®, and low-voltage contact closure output. The load controllers communicate wirelessly with Radio Powr Savr sensors and Pico wireless controls, allowing for occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting, and local control without the need for additional wires. With easy installation and simple button-press programming, these solutions are ideal for retrofit projects.

NEW Radio Powr Savr_® Occupancy/Vacancy Sensor—Lutron has enhanced the aesthetics of our award-winning Radio Powr Savr ceiling-mount sensor. The new version of the wireless sensor possesses a smaller form factor and the ability to be recess mounted (mounting bracket sold separately). The sensor diameter measures just 3.57’’, a reduction of nearly a 0.5” from the original version. The updated aesthetic assists in minimizing the visual impact of the sensor.

 

NEW C·L Dimmers—Lutron is pleased to introduce new dimmers: Diva_® C·L, Ariandni_® C·L and Credenza_® C·L. These dimmers work not only with today’s most popular light bulbs, like incandescent and halogen, but also with dimmable CFLs and LEDs, which are expected to become widely adopted over the next 10 years. By installing one of these new dimmers, users will be able to reliably control the widest range of dimmable light sources.

 

NEW Hi-lume_® A-Series LED Driver—This LED driver from Lutron is the most versatile driver currently available. LEDs use less energy than CFLs and last for 50,000 hours–benefits which are enhanced by the Lutron Hi-lume_® A-Series LED driver. This LED driver is a high-performance, universal voltage driver that provides energy-efficient LED dimming smoothly and continuously from 100 percent to 1 percent of total light output. The Hi-lume A-Series LED driver is unmatched in its flexibility and dimming performance. It can also integrate with a multitude of lighting control products.

NEW LED Control Center of Excellence—This resource is devoted to providing answers to all questions about LED lighting control solutions. Compatibility between the LED array, driver, and control is essential so that products perform safely and customer expectations are met. As part of the LED Control Center of Excellence, Lutron has developed an LED Product Selection Tool, located on the LED website - www.lutron.com/LEDTOOL, explaining which Lutron dimmer/solution can be used with current LED products, and the level of performance that can be expected from each combination. Lutron is pleased to introduce Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment technology, which maintains uniform tilt and lift positions across blinds. This technology combines smooth, quiet motion with independent control of lift and tilt and features presets to recall blinds to a predetermined height and tilt angle for the ultimate in performance and style.

 

NEW EcoSystem_® H-Series Ballast—Lutron has expanded the EcoSystem_® H-Series Ballast line to include 347V options and a universal voltage 3-lamp version for T8 32Watt lamps. The EcoSystem H-Series ballast is a cost-effective option that offers increased flexibility, superior performance and easy installation. The ballasts are compatible with EcoSystem digital control components, including the Energi Savr Node_TM with EcoSystem module, GRAFIK Eye_® QS with EcoSystem preset light and shade controller, and Quantum_®.

NEW QS timeclock— The QS Timeclock is an easy-to-use astronomic timeclock that provides automatic control of lights and shades from a single device on the QS link. The preset adjustment of lights and shades throughout the day increases productivity while meeting energy codes that require the automatic adjustment of lights. The QS Timeclock is compatible with Lutron lighting control systems – Energi Savr Node with QS sensor module, GRAFIK Eye QS scene controllers, Sivoia QS shades.

 

NEW Wired Pico_® keypad— Featuring the same functionality as the wireless Pico controller, the wired Pico keypad saves energy and increases occupant comfort and productivity, while allowing for personal control of lights in a commercial environment. The wired Pico keypad is a cost effective solution for light control, easy to install and easy-to-use.

NEW QuantumSelect—QuantumSelect allows you to create your own system by choosing just the functionality you want for your project. Start with one of the standard packages and then add on more parts and pieces to create the system perfect for your project.  Available packages include: Hyperion, BMS Subsystem, MinEnergy, and Choice. 

Energi Savr Node_™ Product Family—Simple, programmable, and totally modular solutions for controlling light and saving energy in any commercial space, Energi Savr Node Modules can be used to control ballasts, and connect occupancy/vacancy sensors, daylight sensors, and wallstations for Total Light Management_™. Ideal for retrofits and new construction, each module can be installed locally, without the need to connect to a central panel.

GRAFIK Eye_® QS with Wireless Technology—A breakthrough energy-efficient light control product with wireless capability, GRAFIK Eye QS is a fully-customizable preset

light and shade control system providing convenient control, energy savings, and

enhancement of the visual environment. Now armed with wireless technology, GRAFIK Eye QS enables effortless communication, seamless integration, and complete control of lights and automated shades. 

Smart Grid Demand Response capabilities—Lutron promotes the broader use of its existing technologies currently used in many whole home and whole building lighting systems. Lutron plans to move quickly to help connect power utilities’ “smart metering” to the electrical infrastructure in both homes and commercial spaces.
