The breathtaking scenes of protest across the nation have, yet again, put front and center the damaging problem of racism in our society and certain public institutions. The National Lighting Bureau (NLB) joins other Lighting Industry organizations in strongly condemning all forms of racism, violence, and hate. In the wake of the protests, our organization renews its commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the Lighting Industry. And, we commit to redoubling our effort to educate both ourselves and our constituents on the harmful effects of implicit and unconscious bias. We join our voice with those of other concerned citizens in communities across the nation seeking an immediate and abrupt end to racism in all forms and wherever it may dwell.
